Who We Are

I live in beautiful Silverspring neighbourhood in Saskatoon with my husband and two kiddos. We are a nature loving family who loves to be outside enjoying nature, geocaching and cross country skiing in winter.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan followed by my graduate degree from the University of Regina before we hopped over to Alberta for work. When our kids arrived we wanted to be closer to family and re-located back to Saskatoon.

After years of volunteering to teach art I decided to start my own home-based nature+art studio to teach children nature art. Our family is a bit camera shy so we created a fall leaf collage in lieu of a family photo.

I am always happy to bring my art making to you! I love meeting families at events like the Waskesui Children’s Festival where we’ve provided arts and crafts for the past three years. I’ve led homeschool groups in using natural dyes, classrooms on nature walks and even planned an Ice Cream Sundae party using native fruits to connect children with traditional foods and medicines. If you have an upcoming event and are looking for some nature art activities for children please get in touch.
